Hi, today I
will talk about https://imslp.org/. IMSLP stands for the International Music
Score Library Project, in this website we can find scores of classical music
that belong to the public domain which we can download them free. This website contains
about 145.000 works, we can navigate in the site by a searcher that have a
variety of filters like composer, time period of the composer, genre, melody,
instrumentation, etc.
I visit
this site in average three times at the week because in my career is necessary study
works of the greatest composers like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn, etc. Also,
I check the site to find repertoire to play on my instrument or in my chamber
group
In my
opinion this site is an invaluable source because we can access a lot of works
that are very important for the history of humanity, we can analyze theme and
of course, we can play them, either alone, in a chamber group or in an
orchestra. As if that were not enough, we can do this and much more for free.
Hi Bryan :) I used that page everyday jajaj I think is the best platform for poor musicians
